Bio

From the small town of Centralia Illinois, Brandon Ray grew to have an appreciation for delivery and skill while being influenced by rappers like 2 Pac, Biggie, Nas, Nelly and Jay-Z. That appreciation led to Brandon cultivating his own unique style that consist of clever word play, sharp delivery, and intelligent pop culture references. Despite early influences, Brandon's style has changed to follow along with his Christian faith. Brandon has currently wrapped up work in the studio and is set to release his seventh rap album of his independent career.
Brandon became heavily influenced by Rap and Hip-Hop during his high school years. He began writing lyrics and performing locally in his home town. He then became known for his strong stage presence and the work he puts into performing without any back-vocals. His growing passion and drive led to the recording of two mixtapes. In recent years Brandon has switched off from the mixtapes to grow sharper in his craft by creating full length albums. His goal to break away from the independent circle has never been more clear. With now two mixtapes and four original albums under his belt, the hungry M.C. is looking to build momentum.
This year Brandon adds the title of producer to his name along with his accomplishments as a rap artist and song writer. With the release of his new singles "Better Tell Em'", "Brother Loves Brother", "Eternal Fire", and "No Tears", Brandon's growth in style and skill has become evident. His new album "Enigma" is available now.
